I borrowed Rapture based on the recommendation of the New York Public library. Second time I follow their recommendations and second time I am disappointed.
I opened the book and I began to read the first pages when a sense of "deja vu" hit me. Wait a minute, when did I hear the story of a fallen angel named Daniel? And his soulmate Lucinda?

Yes, it was in this book titled Fallen. A quick Google search game me the sad truth: Rapture is the fourth installment of the Fallen series. I read the first book and rated it two stars on Goodreads. I did not like the story, too simplistic for my taste. For example, Luce sees one of her friend being tortured and killed without feeling any kind of lasting emotional impact. A few pages after the drama, she is back to her new life, happy and in love. This kind of black and white reaction always annoys me.
Conclusion: I gave up Rapture after the first five pages.
